A Change of Direction

So as many of you  know, I've moved off to the vast open cornfields in the middle of the US (Okay kind of geeze).

Well I've started up school again and I'm getting along better since the loss of my dad. Okay, not entirely better, but getting there. The grieving process is long with this one.

As many of you probably also noticed, I'm still trying to save the house here and there when I can. All donations go towards doing little thing here and there to help my BF's mom manage a 125 year old house. This place is too lovely to let get turned into a parking lot. That means donations for a new roof and some new drywall and stuff will always be welcomed. (And yes, you're donations go directly to the owner of the house.)

But that's not all of it.

I've started a hobby, that I want to turn into a full scale job. I've been making homemade bath goods and stuff. I know I know there are people on my watch list who do this, but trust me I'm not taking their ideas, I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I just never really did the research until I saw some of my friends on here making things. I didn't realize it was actually kind of easy. I always thought, "Nope I'd never be able to do that."

But I just made my first batch of lip balm. And out of the mess came quick drying yummies.

Everything I use is organic and top quality. 

Eventually I'll move into soaps and body balm/salves (Starting that here soon I ordered some stuff for a batch of lavender and almond) and then whipped soaps.

But I'm starting out pretty small time so I'm only taking flavor requests. So far I've got strawberry, watermelon, and lemon, but I'll probably be getting more since I know my recipe works (Kinda. I'll tweak it.)

If you're interested hit me up in a note. I will work out pricing with you guys, because if you want oils or flavors I don't have, I will need to order it, and that will add to your cost and stuff. 

Commissions for writing is still up and I still do proofing, so I'll leave those prices up.
